How can I add a referral from an agent at another office?

What does Referred On mean?

In the Contacts and Leads grids, Referred On is the date Brokerkit recorded the lead as referred or submitted. If the lead came from an agent or affiliate referral, it is the date that agent or affiliate referred the candidate. If the lead came from another create or import path, Brokerkit generally sets this to the date the lead was created, submitted, or imported, unless the import supplied a separate Date Referred or Referral Date. It is a date field, not a lead status, and admins can edit it from the contact's Recruiting Details.

In order to add a referrer who isn't an agent on your roster, the best practice is to add them as an Affiliate. Affiliates have the ability to refer, track referrals, etc., without being an agent on your team.

From the Retention screen, click Add Team Member. Enter the referrer's information, and under Role, select Affiliate.

Not only does this give you the option to enter referrals under their name, it gives them the ability to track progress and easily refer you more leads.
