Using AI Assist

Welcome to brokerkit's AI Assist

AI Assist uses generative AI to help you write recruiting and retention messages — fast. It knows the real-estate brokerage context, your contacts, your production data, and your brand voice, so a short prompt produces a personalized, ready-to-send message.

1. What is AI Assist?

AI Assist is built into every text editor across brokerkit. It understands real-estate-specific terms (agents, transactions, GCI, production, splits) and automatically pulls in details about the contact you're writing to — so messages come out personalized without copy-paste.

2. Where to find AI Assist

Look for the AI Assist icon in any text editor. It's available across all 8 editor locations and 12 editor types, including:

  • Email composer (single & bulk)
  • SMS / text composer
  • Notes
  • Tasks & appointments
  • Email signatures
  • Landing pages
  • Job descriptions
  • Smart campaign and templated content

3. The Compose-First Modal

Click the AI Assist icon and you'll see a tabbed modal:

  • Compose (default) — write or speak your prompt and generate.
  • Library — pick from a curated list of pre-built prompts and customize them.
  • Suggestions (coming soon) — AI-recommended prompts based on the contact and context.

4. Composing a Message

  1. Type or speak your prompt. Tap the microphone icon to use voice typing — just talk and AI Assist will type for you.
  2. Pick your context depth from the dropdown next to the prompt:
    • Sender / Contact — fastest. Uses sender + contact profile only.
    • + Production — adds production stats and Relitix / Courted integration data.
    • Full Activity — includes recent conversation history with the contact.
  3. Click Generate. The message appears below in formatted Markdown.

5. Contact-Aware AI

AI Assist now silently pulls in everything it needs about the contact you're writing to:

  • Profile data — name, brokerage, role, location
  • Production stats — transactions, volume, GCI
  • Relitix data — career moves, recent activity (when integrated)
  • Courted data — agent intelligence (when integrated)
  • Recent messages — your last few interactions with this contact

This means a quick prompt like "draft an email congratulating them on a strong Q1" produces a fully personalized message — no copy-paste required.

6. No More Déjà Vu

AI Assist remembers recent messages you've sent to a contact and avoids repeating itself, so follow-ups stay fresh.

7. Output Format Toggle

In HTML editors, you can choose how the result lands:

  • HTML — formatted output (default for HTML editors)
  • Plain text — clean, unformatted text

8. Choosing a Model Tier

Use the Model Tier Selector at the top of the modal to choose between:

  • Standard — fast, efficient, great for everyday drafting.
  • Pro — higher reasoning quality for complex or nuanced messages.

Pro uses more tokens per message — pick the tier that matches the job.

9. Customizing Your AI Voice

You can shape the way AI Assist writes for you in Settings → AI Settings:

User-Level (your personal voice)

  • Sender Brand Voice — describe your communication style in your own words. AI Assist mirrors it.
  • Communication Style — pick a tone (e.g. friendly, professional, energetic).

Account-Level (your brokerage's voice)

  • Account Brand Voice — sets a default voice for everyone in the account.
  • Settings Inheritance — user-level settings override account-level when both are set, so each rep can tune their own voice without losing the brokerage default.

10. Tokens & Usage

Every message you generate uses tokens. The token count shown before you generate now matches what you actually use, so there are no surprises.

  • What's a token? Roughly a word — it's how AI models measure text length.
  • Plan limits — different brokerkit plans include different token allowances. Check your plan to see your monthly limit.

11. Tweaking Your Result

Not quite right? Edit the prompt in the Compose tab and hit Generate again. You can also pick a fresh starting point from the Library tab.

12. Inserting Content

When you're happy with the result, click Insert and the AI-generated content drops into the editor you were working in.

13. Important Notice

AI-generated output can sometimes be inaccurate or off-tone. Always review and refine before sending — especially for high-stakes messages.
