How to Invite (and Remind) Your Agents to Refer Using Brokerkit

One of the most powerful features in Brokerkit is the ability to empower your agents to become referral sources. They will each get a referral account to refer recruiting leads, and Brokerkit automatically creates a landing page for each one of them, allowing your recruiting efforts to snowball with each new agent. From Brokerkit, navigate to Lead Gen > Referrals in the left sidebar.Lead Gen > Referrals in sidebar Be sure to customize the invitation text so your agents know it's coming from you. Then click Send Team Invitation, and all of your agents will immediately receive invitation emails. We suggest inviting your team during a regular meeting so they can look for the email and immediately take action. For added benefit, include a link to the agent guide found here to get them up and running immediately. Once you've invited your agents, you can continue to remind and catch any remaining agents. To follow up with remaining agents, navigate to Lead Gen > Referrals in the left sidebar. Referrals page Then, simply click the Invite Who's Left link to catch any stragglers who've yet to sign up. Making sure your team is equipped to refer you new recruits is only half the battle - be sure to keep them motivated by celebrating your agent's referrals and calling them out during meetings. And, of course, a little added incentive never hurt anyone. Working with Referrer Notes and Contact Information Understanding Referrer Notes The Referrer Notes field in contact profiles is a plain text field designed specifically for capturing referral information from your agents. This field does not support rich text formatting such as changing font size, making text bold, or other styling options. Alternative Options for Formatted Notes If you need to add formatted notes to a contact profile, Brokerkit offers several other note types that support full text formatting: - Sticky Notes - For persistent reminders with rich text formatting - Call Notes - For documenting phone conversations - Text Notes - For SMS/text message documentation - Email Notes - For email correspondence records These note types include a full text editor with options to change font size, make text bold, add colors, and other formatting features.

Getting Your Agents and Affiliates Set Up to Send Referrals

Getting Your Agents and Affiliates Set Up to Send Referrals Also known as: share referral link with one agent, send landing page to agent, how do agents get their referral link, invite agent to refer candidates, set up referral for a specific person. As a broker or admin, you can set up your agents and affiliates so they can start sending you referrals. There are two ways they can submit referrals: through their personal landing page (no login required from the recruit) or through their BrokerKit account (after they log in). Here's how to get them started. Option 1: Send an Invite from Manage Team If your agent or affiliate doesn't have a BrokerKit account yet (or hasn't accepted their invite), you can send them an invitation: 1. Go to Account Settings → Team Members (or navigate directly to /team/members). 2. Click the Agents or Affiliates tab, depending on their role. 3. Find the person and click Send Invite (or Resend Invite if they were previously invited but haven't joined yet). 4. They receive an email with an activation link. Once they accept and log in, they can: - Click Refer a Candidate to submit referrals manually. - Click Share Landing Page to get their personal referral link. - Share that link anywhere — email signature, social media, texts — to bring in referrals passively. If the invite email didn't arrive: Ask them to check spam/junk. You can also resend it from the Team Members page. If it still doesn't work, contact BrokerKit support. Option 2: Download the Roster CSV with Landing Page Links If you want to send an agent or affiliate their landing page link directly (without requiring them to log in first), you can find it in the team roster export: 1. Go to Account Settings → Team Members (/team/members). 2. Click Download current CSV to export your roster as a spreadsheet. 3. Open the CSV file and locate the person's row — the Personal Landing Page column contains their unique referral link. 4. Copy their link and send it to them directly (by email, text, or any method you prefer). 5. When someone submits a referral through that landing page, it appears in your BrokerKit account as a new recruiting lead with the referrer automatically attributed. What the landing page looks like: Each agent/affiliate has their own personalized page at a URL like https://getbrokerkit.com/t/[team-slug]/[user-id]. The page displays the agent's name, photo, and contact information (pulled from their BrokerKit profile). Recruits fill out a simple form, and the lead is automatically created in your account. What Agents and Affiliates See After Logging In Once your agents or affiliates accept their invite and log in, they see their Agent Dashboard. From there they can: - Refer a Candidate — Manually enter a recruit's contact info. - Share Landing Page — Copy their personal referral link to share anywhere. - View Referral Status — Track how their referrals are progressing. - Update Their Profile — Change their name, photo, and contact information. For more details from the agent's perspective, see [Joining and Using Brokerkit as an Agent or Affiliate user]. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Can I share a referral link with just one agent? A: Yes. Use Option 2 (download the roster CSV) to find that specific agent's Personal Landing Page link, then send it to them directly. Or use Option 1 to send them an invite so they can log in and get their own link. Q: What's the difference between an Agent and an Affiliate? A: Both can refer candidates and have their own landing pages. "Agent" is typically used for agents on your retention roster. "Affiliate" is for external referral partners. The referral process works the same way for both roles. Q: Do I need to invite every agent individually? A: Yes, each person needs their own account with their own email address and unique landing page. Use the Send Invite button on the Team Members page to invite them. Q: Can I share my own referral link instead of the agent's? A: Your own referral link (from the Dashboard's Share Landing Page button) would create leads attributed to you, not to the specific agent. If you want referrals attributed to a particular agent, use their personal landing page link instead.
