Logging in to Brokerkit

Use the steps below to sign in to Brokerkit or get help if you're having trouble. How to Sign In All four sign-in options are available on one page at getbrokerkit.com/users/sign_in: - Sign in with Google — use your Google account credentials. Signing in with Google or Microsoft gives you access to additional contact-profile features like sending 1-on-1 emails and creating calendar appointments directly from contact records. - Sign in with Microsoft — use your Microsoft account credentials. - Email and password — enter your email address and password. If you don't have a password yet, use Set or reset your password to create one. - Email me a link — click this option and we'll send a one-time sign-in link to your email. No password needed. The link expires in 24 hours. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you can also set a password for that same email address and use either method whenever you want — they can both be active at the same time. Setting or Resetting Your Password To set a new password or reset a forgotten one: 1. Go to getbrokerkit.com and click Log In. 2. On the sign-in page, click Set or reset your password. 3. Enter your email address and submit. 4. Check your email for the password reset link. 5. Click the link and set your new password. If you don't see the email, check your spam/junk folder. If it still doesn't arrive, contact support at support@brokerkit.com. Can Multiple People Share One Brokerkit Login? Short answer: Yes, it's possible — but we strongly recommend each person have their own user account. Why we recommend a separate user for each person: - Tasks can be assigned to specific people - Activity history shows who did what (who emailed, called, texted, updated a contact, etc.) - Notifications go to the right person instead of being shared by everyone - Each user can have their own email signature, calendar, and integrations - It works better for reporting and accountability across your team If you do want to share a single login: - If logging in via Google or Microsoft — both people must have access to the same Google or Microsoft account credentials. - If logging in via email and password — both people share the email/password (or use the "Email me a link" sign-in link sent to that shared email inbox). Important limitation when sharing a login: Contact-profile features like sending 1-on-1 emails or creating calendar appointments require Google or Microsoft authorization. Without those, a shared login can still send bulk emails and campaign emails, because those go through Brokerkit's email sending domain, not through a personal Google/Microsoft account. Can I Change the Session Timeout? Brokerkit web sessions ask for credentials again after 24 hours of inactivity. There is no per-user setting to change this timeout. Why Am I Asked to Log In Again When Sending an Email or Using Contact-Profile Actions? Contact-profile actions — like sending a 1-on-1 email or creating a calendar appointment — use your Google or Microsoft authorization. If Brokerkit lets you compose a message but then asks you to sign in when you try to send or save it, reauthorize Brokerkit with your Google or Microsoft account. For Google accounts: 1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions. 2. Find Brokerkit in the connected apps list. 3. Remove Brokerkit access. 4. Return to Brokerkit and sign in with Google again. 5. When Google asks for permissions, click Allow for the requested email and calendar access. For Microsoft accounts: 1. Go to your Microsoft Account → Privacy & Online Safety → Apps & Services → Connected Apps (or visit account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access). 2. Find Brokerkit in the list of connected apps. 3. Remove Brokerkit access. 4. Return to Brokerkit and sign in with Microsoft again. 5. When Microsoft asks for permissions, accept all requested permissions including email and calendar access. If your email is managed by your company (corporate Microsoft account), you may need your IT administrator to remove the Brokerkit app access for you. See How to set up a Corporate Microsoft Account for use in BrokerKit for details. If the issue continues after reauthorizing, contact Brokerkit support at support@brokerkit.com with the email address you use to log in and the action that triggered the sign-in prompt. Why Can't I Log In? / Am I Locked Out? "No Team Found" / "Not in system" error This typically means you are trying to sign in with an email address that doesn't match the one on your Brokerkit account. Check these places to find the right email: - Past notifications or welcome emails from Brokerkit - Calendar appointments scheduled through Brokerkit - Any correspondence or transaction documents you received via Brokerkit You changed your account email Your Brokerkit login username is your email address. If you updated your email on your user account, you'll need to sign in with the new email going forward. Contact support if you need help. A contact profile was accidentally deleted If your contact record in Brokerkit is deleted, your user account is deleted along with it. Contact Brokerkit support to restore access. User account ownership change If your user account was reassigned to someone else, a new account needs to be created for you. Contact your brokerage admin to add you back, or if you're the admin, contact Brokerkit support for help. Make sure the email you use to sign in to Brokerkit matches exactly the email your brokerage has on file for you. If you need assistance, reach out to support@brokerkit.com and include the email address you're trying to sign in with.

The steps are detailed here, and you can configure them in the Account Settings>Email tab here. - Bulk/campaign emails will still work without sending domains configured, but the emails will be sent from clients.getbrokerkit.com "on behalf of" your domain and the deliverability will be lower and you will incur additional limits in Brokerkit to preserve the sending reputation of our domain. - See this article on how to maintain high email deliverability. 9**.
